The Chinese New Year is one of the largest and most important traditions in China. New Year
which also called "The Chinese Zodiac" holds 12 animals and runs in a circle. Every year it is
one specific animal that gets in focus and 2019 is the pig's year.
During the period 5-9 February the restaurant exclusively will offer a serving with three different
variations on the Swedish farm pig and on the black-footed pig from the Iberian peninsula.
- "It is especially fun to let Chinese food take more space, a country that does not have
received our full attention earlier. Food, drinks and interiors will reflect
the Chinese food culture and especially the Chinese New Year. Extra fun is it
also that it is year of the Pig since pig is a fantastic high quality product that is very tasty
and fun to work with.” says Niklas Odin
During the week, TAKO will also offer elements of unique Chinese drinks as well
a lot of fun surprises in the form of music and new year decorations. The atmosphere will be festivities in both bar and dining room and on the 9th of feb it will be a big party.
- "Almost 1.4 billion Chinese people cannot be wrong, New Year will be celebrated from February 5.
Come and celebrate with us!” Says Christian Olsson, co-owner of TAKO
